one of the constituent centres- National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC)
has released notification for Recruitment in various Disciplines of Technician-B
post. NRSC is responsible for the Ground Segment of Remote Sensing
Programme through Satellite Data Acquisition, archival, processing,
dissemination, remote sensing applications, training and capacity building. You

The Educational Qualification required for the above posts should be possessed/
valid/ issued as on the last date of receipt of application.

Indian Nationals need to apply.
Age
Limit (as on 31/12/2023): 18 – 35 years. Relaxation in
upper age limit by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for
SC/ST candidates against the posts reserved for these categories. Upper age
relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs),
Ex-Servicemen (ESMs), Central Govt. Employees, Meritorious
Sports Persons etc. are also applicable as per Government of India
Orders. Candidates seeking upper age relaxation have to produce relevant
Certificate as issued by the Competent Authorities to get the relaxation.
Note: In
respect of OBC candidates, reservation will be available only to candidates who
do not fall in “Creamy Layer” and have to submit latest OBC (Non-creamy
layer) certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed
format applicable for reservation in jobs under Government of India at the time
of Skill Test. OBC candidate must specify the cause regarding “Exclusion from
Creamy Layer” and update/validate at the relevant point of time, i.e. during
submission of online application for the regarding posts. So, the OBC
certificate must be valid and updated including the cause of “Exclusion from
Creamy Layer” to get reservation facility at the time of Written Test/

·Application
Fee : ₹ 100/- (non-refundable) per
application. But initially all candidates have to uniformly pay ₹
500/- per application as processing fee. This processing fee will
be refunded only to the candidates who will appear in the written test, as
below-
(i)
The candidates who are exempted from payment of application fee (Women,
SC/ST/PwBD, Ex-Servicemen) will get full refund (₹ 500/-).
(ii)
All other candidates will get refund ₹400/- after deducting the
application fee.
·Payment
Method: Online via SBI e-Payment gateway using Debit
Cards/ Unified Payment Interface (UPI)/ Internet Banking.
By
default, refund will be made by original payment method only. However, in case
of any failure with the original payment method, refund will be made to the
Bank Account details provided by the candidate in the application.
·Documents
Required for Application: Candidates
have to upload clear images/ scanned copies of the following documents during
online application-
(i)
Recent colour passport size photograph (not older than 6 months) in .jpg
or .jpeg format (Size: 50 kb to 100 kb; and Dimensions: 3.5
cm x 4.5 cm).
(ii)
Signature (clear and legible) in .jpg or .jpeg format; Size: 50 kb to 100
kb.
(iii)
SSC/ SSLC Certificate.
(iv)
ITI/ NTC/ NAC Certificate from NCVT in relevant trade.
(v)
SC/ ST/ Disability/ Ex-servicemen certificate according to candidate’s category
(applicable also for full refund of processing fee).

Register yourself at first. During registration you have fill some basic
details including preferred Post Name, Post Code, Candidate’s full name ( as
per your Matriculation/10th certificate/SSC), valid Mobile Number
and valid Email Address. Then click “Generate OTP”; verify OTP; click “I Agree”
and Reverify.
(iii)
After completing registration “Go to Application”. Enter basic details required
further (Filling of * marked spaces is mandatory); select Exam cities; enter
Bank Details; choose correct options; enter Address; Qualification details;
Upload required documents in proper size & format; select Pay Online
option; fill given options & captcha; then save. See Preview.
(iv)
Make payment online.
(v)
Take a copy of the application form for future reference.
· Important
Points
(i)
Only passed out candidates are eligible to apply. Candidates waiting for final
result need not apply.
(ii)
Intimation to the eligible candidates for the written test/ skill test will be
sent only to registered E-mail ID (of the candidate) provided by the candidate.
(iii)Travelling
Allowance: Outstation candidates called for Skill Test will be paid to and
fro sleeper class Railway Fare or non-AC bus fare, whichever is less;
by the shortest route from the address given in the web application to the
place of Skill Test, on production of Railway/Bus Ticket or print-out of
e-tickets. So, only the Candidates allowed to Skill Test after successful
document verification are eligible for this Travel Allowance. [See xviii

(iv)
Candidates employed under Central/ State Govt., Public Sector Undertakings
(PSUs), etc. have to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time
of skill test. [See xvii point of (L)‘Instructions to Candidates’
section in Notification released in official website]
(v)
SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates have to produce relevant original certificates issued
by competent authority in prescribed format (Annexure- I, II & III) at the
time of Skill test. [See xix point of (L)‘Instructions to

(vi)
PwBD candidates have to produce original Disability Certificate in prescribed
format as given in Annexure-IV at the time of Written and Skill test (for

(vii) EWS candidates have to produce Income & Asset Certificate for year 2022 to 2023 and valid for Financial year 2023-2024, at the time of Skill test. [See xviii point of (L)‘Instructions to Candidates’ section in Notification released in official website]
